Story of the week:Performance Enhancing Drugs

I've decided to make some new segments. This is the first one, it will come out every Saturday. I will be reporting on the biggest news in football each week.  Today's story is about performance enhancing drugs: the reason why it is about performance enhancing drugs is because as you may have heard, Kolo Toure failed his doping test. You know what, why don't we refer to performance enhancing drugs as PED.  Now you're probably thinking what is he going to write about, there's not much of a story there. You're right, that's why I always add a question to it!
Todays question is:
                                                                                                          Kolo Toure (Manchester City)
Is doping a good idea?

It's hard to analyze this kind of thing because there are countless players in the world who take PED.
But maybe we can still find an answer by looking at facts.

Fact No. 1: A soccer player needs strength, but if you're too strong you become slower.

Fact No. 2: If people find out you've been taking performance enhancing drugs, it will be in the tabloids, like the daily news (pictured on the right) and you'll most likely be suspended.

Fact No.3: Unlike in Baseball, PED doesn't help a lot, your legs don't need doping and your hands don't help if you are a centre-defender anyway.

Fact No. 4: It is illegal!  Doping creates an uneven playing field and takes true competition out of sport.

Those 4 facts lead to my answer, which you will find below:

My Answer: After the above facts it is clear. PED are not a good idea! Maybe and only maybe it can help you defend better. But who would take the risk to be suspended and disappoint your team just to become "stronger"?!  Also, it could slow you down rather than speed you up.  Kolo Toure's story is all over the news.  I live in a place where people care more for ice-hockey than for soccer, but they still had the news in the local paper.

I could rant on about this for hours, but I don't want to waste any of your time, so to cut it short here is my final answer:
PED are not a smart idea and you would probably make a total fool out of yourself if the tabloids were to find out (which they will because those guys know EVERYTHING!!!).  It's just a dumb idea.

Oh my God, even that took me forever to write down. Because I don't dope!

I'm gonna say goodbye before I start a ranting-marathon!!!

That was my analysis on the question of the week.
Leave any suggestions below for what I could write about. See you next time.!.!.!.
